What is the screen resolution of the average user in the UK legal sector? This used to be a straightforward question with a sensible answer but nowadays the situation is quite complex - there are a lot of different devices used to access websites and a wide number of different screen sizes.
To get a handle on this, I've analysed the screen resolution data reported in Google Analytics for a representative sample of 10 UK law firms. I've split the resolution into horizontal and vertical components and then calculated the percentage of users who have a screen size the same or larger than this.

Here's a list of the most popular screen resolutions recorded:
| Resolution | Percentage (Sessions) |
| 360 x 640 | 14% |
| 1920 x 1080 | 12% |
| 375 x 667 | 11% |
| 1366 x 768 | 11% |
| 768 x 1024 | 8% |
| 320 x 568 | 8% |
| 1280 x 1024 | 7% |
| 1440 x 900 | 4% |

| 1024 x 768 | 2% |
| 1680 x 1050 | 2% |
| 414 x 736 | 2% |
| 1536 x 864 | 1% |
