Tell us about your role

At Conscious, my role involves keeping our 70+ SEO projects running smoothly and making sure that our team is working on SEO projects in the best possible way to help our clients get more work and ultimately make more money from their website.

What’s your favourite Conscious value and why?

Inquisitive – I have always been a very inquisitive person, I like to understand how things work and why they work the way that they do. Having an inquisitive nature is very important for SEO as you have to spend a lot of time investigating why things are happening, and it is often not immediately obvious.

Tell us about your life outside of Conscious

Outside of Conscious, I spend a lot of time at the gym, where I love to lift weights. I also enjoy playing guitar (both classical and electric), reading novels, and writing poetry.

Always pay careful attention to what you are measuring with the performance of your website. Not all measures are useful in all contexts, and if you are not careful you can optimise your website around completely the wrong thing.
