Often overlooked, this Google Analytics feature can really help you keep track of spikes in your data.
For example, did you run a really successful campaign in May and see an obvious surge of visits to your website as a result? Google Analytics allows you to add a note to that specific day to not only remind yourself and keep track, but to show others in your firm the affects of your marketing campaign. Other members of your team can add and edit notes so you can have a much more collaborative experience with it.
It’s a really excellent visual tool, which not everyone is aware of. That’s why I made a short video tutorial to show you how to use it – you’ll find that it’s much better than post-it notes in the long run!
