I had the pleasure last night of attending my first ever Account Manager’s Network meeting. Held in London and organised by Darren Francis & Claire Offord it’s a network for people in professional service firms who work in account management/CRM roles. Not the marketing side and not the techie side. The people/relationship side.
The seminar was delivered by Jack Downton, Marianne O’Connor and Paul Clayton of The Influence Business and was all around how to be a better personal networker. With a mixture of anecdotes and role play (including the delegates) it was highly interactive and I found myself learning a couple of points and being reminded of a whole lot more.
