As mobile usage of the Internet grows, law firms are beginning to need mobile websites optimised for clients with smartphones. We are typically seeing page views from smartphones in the 4-5% region. Enough for firms to now consider having a mobile site.
However, most law firms don't want the overhead and expense associated with maintaining two separate sites on different platforms/servers.

Example mobile site for Zenith Chambers
To see the example above on your phone, open a browser and enter zenithchambers.mobi and then with a browser on your computer go to http://www.zenithchambers.co.uk Note how visually consistent the two sites are.
The Mobile Module of the CMS addresses this issue and creates mobile sites with features such as:
- Mobile site runs on a separate domain name (ideally clientname.mobi) which is hosted on our servers
- Mobile pages are written specifically for the mobile audience. Usually About, Services, Contact etc
- Contact pages link to Google Maps, phone numbers are hyperlink to the phones dialling feature
- Staff data is published automatically from the main site
- All static pages and the staff data is then exported to the .mobi domain and a new, fast, lightweight, mobile ready website is available
- Mobile standards are fully respected and new smartphones will be tested as they are released
