I always find this a funny time of year. Bonfire Night and Half Term have gone and Christmas is just around the corner. Lighter mornings, darker evenings give a different feel to the day.

Doubtless as you look around the legal sector do you see it in the same state of flux as I do? If you've not discovered it yet, I think the Legal Futures website is a great way of staying on top of everything that's going on. I think Neil Rose & his team really seem to have struck a chord with the way they are writing about the changes in the profession.

At Conscious we spend November & December thinking about our tactical plans for the next financial year (Jan-Dec 2012) so if there's anything you think we should be doing (however wacky) that might help your business, please do let me know.

Christmas Marketing Ideas

C'mon, Bonfire Night has been and gone so you must have a) booked a Christmas party and b) at least given some thought to what you should be doing in terms of Christmas marketing ideas. We've already emailed you with a PDF detailing a range of options that we have available this year. My hope is that someone wants to do the "Suing Santa" cartoons (draft version here and here).

We have one client live with the pilot version of SecureForms but we still need more help assembling a collection of forms. Outbound Call Recording

Have you ever picked up the phone and wished you could record both sides of the phone call? Perhaps to listen back and review how you performed, or perhaps when working on a legal matter and you want an accurate record? Well now you can. Our YouTube Channel

I decided a couple of weeks ago that it was time we led from the front and got serious about showing what can be done with video marketing. So the first thing to do was make sure that our YouTube channel was up-to-date with all our latest videos. Some are proper videos, some are photo videos made using Animoto, and one is a very early demo of a fabulous new service called Vumanity.

Please do have a look, I'm sure you'll find something to watch.

One-off Animoto videos

Having just mentioned Animoto above, I wanted to bring to your attention that we can now produce one-off photo videos for you. There's no need for you to sign up an account for the occasional video, or spend time getting used to the software. We can do everything for you. Typical costs are 1-2hrs depending on how many photos there are and how much "prep" work you do yourselves. Speak to your Account Manager if you want one done e.g. how about something for your team only after your Christmas party or as a follow up to a client drinks event around the Christmas season?
