Front End Web Developer

Conscious Solutions are currently hiring a front end web developer to work in our central Bristol office.

Your main duties will include the front end development of websites using our in-house CMS, so you will need strong experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript. Projects will typically range from a few days to several weeks depending on the level of customisation and will require talking directly with clients, so a good phone manner is important.

It is essential that you have a strong understanding of Javascript and jQuery as you will be required to help update and maintain our in-house Javascript library. You must have the technical capability to create new functionality both individually and as part of a team.

For the right candidate further opportunities will be available, including database work, server administration and/or backend programming in the form of PHP. We have a wide range of internal projects running alongside our core website production which leaves plenty of room for career progression for the right candidate.
