It's never been a "bandwagon" thing with us. It's been a consistent improvement in our approach to being an environmentally friendly business over the years. In our experience it's the little things that make a difference, such as:
- using "over the web technology" to minimise travel
- using the train rather than a car as often as possible
- if we need to take the car then making multiple appointments in one trip
- all forms of recycling (paper, glass, bits of old computer, even batteries)
- only two members of our office based staff drives a car to work
other things we are looking at:
- carbon offsetting as a business
- GAYE matching scheme for employees charity contrbutions
It's not a fad, it's just the right thing to be doing as an employer.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Although we are a small business, we like to feel that we can make a small impact on the Bristol community. Here are some of things we've done over the last 12 months, and things we commit to going forward:
- David acts as a mentor on the Bristol University Engineering Department's "Entrepreneurship" module
- each year we take as many work experience students from local schools as we can
- David is a regular "visitor from work" at Clevedon Community School. This is a careers day the school run where business people come into the school and talk about what their job is like and how they got there
- advertise all jobs at the local job centre
- regularly support our clients' and our staff's charity efforts (Bryony's Dad's charity cycle ride, Sarah doing the Race for Life, David doing the Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Golf Day)
