I'm spending Christmas this year with my wife's family in Troon on the Ayrshire coast in Scotland. We decided to leg it all the way up in one day today (Sat 19th) rather than break the journey in the Lake District. All was well until we got just over the border onto the M74 and this is what we hit.
All in all it wasn't too bad a trip and probably much better than what people have to come!
